On Becoming Filipina in 10 months...

Islands=27 So now that I'm spending about 10 months in the Philippines, I'll be living the Manila life, reconnecting with my extended family and hopefully learning my Tagalog. I'll also be tallying how many times people ask me if I have a boyfriend and how times they tell me I'm fat. McFattie: 14 McSingle: 22

Palawan Day I : May 19, 2006

Here are pictures from our first day in Palawan.  We (Mom, me, Tita

Elsa, Tito Eddie, Tita Lowell & her husband Geoff, & Auntie

Nonet) arrived at Puerto Princesa by plane sometime in the afternoon

and still had a little time to go sightseeing for a little bit.

Here are some pictures of the scenery. I love the rice fields with the sea in the background
