40th Wedding Anniversary

After being out of touch for a couple months, I finally made the four hour bus ride down to Lucena to make it in time for Tito Eddie & Tita Elsa's surprise 40th wedding anniversary celebration. Sometimes deception is fun! All the fam and friends were in on the ruse and making excuses as to why we couldn't make it out to dinner or whatnot. It was really great to see the look of surprise as they came in and figured out that the crazy party they walked in on was actually thrown for them. Manel, Dimples & Jolo were the emcees for the evening.


The program was a reenactment of a wedding reception. They cut the cake, did the money dance and handed out the bridal bouquet.

The best gift was a refinished copy of the original wedding pictures in a new photo album.

After 40 years of marriage, they have a whole clan :-D
